About Me
Hey there! Im Julia Hill. I'm a 2D animator and story artist born and raised in Colorado.

I've worked as an Animator and Character Designer for tv series such as Dead Sea Squirrels and web series productions at Pencilish Studios as an intern and helped animate on an assortment of music videos.
In 2023 I directed and animated my own animated short called Pawned that won the Deans Best Film at Lipscomb's Film Festival. I graduated from Lipscomb with a BFA in animation where I was mentored by professionals such as Tom and Tony Bancroft, John Pomeroy, Mike Naworki, Victoria Thornberry and others alike!
I’m passionate animator, artist, and a reliable team player who will see a project through to the end and is able to help convey animation that conveys emotion and story.

One of my greatest passions is storytelling and to integrate my work with narratives full of humor, a bit of spookiness, and meaningful themes.

Aside from my creative pursuits, I enjoy reading comic books and spooky stories, exploring the wilderness to find cryptids, and finding new music!
